Not sure where I'm going with this blog this year, but tonight for the first time in a long time I just grabbed my camera to catch a few shots of our everyday life. I then realized how much I missed doing that and how happy I was that even though I didn't exactly succeed in taking a photo a day last year, I captured so many "ordinary" memories from the year that I would have never thought to photograph. I know that in the future these are the photographs that I will treasure far more than the posed portraits.
I'm thinking I might try to post once a week and there might be photos from just one day or all 7 days for the week in that post. Maybe a little flexibility is just what I need to keep going this year. So here is the first post for this year. What better way to start off than photos of my kids that will most likely humiliate them in future years?
