365/111...Purple sun

Today I had a session with clients and I usually try to sneak in at least one "for me" shot . Maybe a cool building or background we are using all by itself. Today I was pretty into the session and getting everything fit in and totally forgot. Before I knew it, the rest of the day was gone and I hadn't taken a photo for the blog. Last time I did this project, this could have led to a mini panic attack, but this year I have a very different attitude about it all. I was actually excited about this challenge. I knew there was ALWAYS at least one shot where I am checking focus, lighting, etc. that the clients themselves are not in. So all I had to do is find it and then make it interesting. This was all I had so I figured it was going to take a LOT of work to make it into something. I remembered the sky was very overcast and you could see the sun through the haze behind these trees and I was trying to get my camera setting right to show it. It was too bright straight out of the camera, so I slid down the exposure slider and there was the sun, the purple sun. I have no idea why it turned purple...happy accident?
