365 Day 7 Capturing Youth

For those of you who aren't photographers, you probably didn't see the gazillion "snow globe images" floating all over Facebook from every other photographer in the world this holiday season so I will fill you in... A very talented photographer took a photo of an empty snow globe with an outdoorsy background and turned it into a template that she then placed photos of her children in. She then sold the template and because I follow a whole bunch of photographers on Facebook pretty much every other post up until Christmas day was a different version of the snow globe. I must admit I started to despise the snow globe, LOL. However, I couldn't help my mind from going through the "how to's" of how to do this and I kind of always knew I would have to give something like this a try someday because it looked like fun to play with. So here it is and although the snow globe and this kind of thing in general aren't really my style I have to say I have a whole new respect for those who can do it well because I...cannot. LOL

Edited to add:  I really have to stress how much I dislike this and I am cracking up over how bad it is, but I will say that I do really like the photo of the jar alone.  See?...Happy Accident.  :)
