Christmas baking with my little elves

One of my favorite Christmas memories is baking and decorating sugar cookies with my mom every year.  It's funny because if you would have asked me as a child what my favorite part of Christmas was, I probably would have said "PRESENTS!" like most kids.  Although I do remember the excitement and anticipation the night before Christmas and the fun of opening the presents, I don't really remember what too many of them were.  I do remember the fun traditions we had in detail though.  Looking back as an adult my favorite memories of my childhood Christmases are these things.  I hope my own kids will remember too.

Daddy asked "Who wants a fire in the fireplace tonight?".  I think it's unanimous.
