Happy 100th Day of School!

I am quite positive that we never celebrated the "100th day of school" when I was a kid, but apparently it is a big deal these days.  Marissa's class was given the assignment to make a project using 100 of something.  She decided to make a heart ("because it's almost Valentine's Day") out of  100 Skittles ("Because they are her favorite candy").  We had a great time!

First we counted out 10 groups of 10 Skittles:

Then we made a heart shape out of them and traced around it with a pen:
