I've missed so many things about this project. As I look back through the posts I realize that although they may not always be the best photos I've ever taken technically, this blog contains many of my favorite photos I've ever taken. What a gift to have this year of our life documented through photography. To watch the seasons change, my children grow, and to relive the memories of 2011 is more than enough reason to call this blog a success, not to mention the original intention of improving my photography skills through practice and forcing me to seek out something to photograph each day. Although there have been some long pauses here and there, I'm so happy with the results so far and have gotten re inspired to get back into the swing of it. Maybe I'll make it through the end of the year without missing a beat, maybe not. Either way I can't wait to see what photos will come out of the next 2 1/2 months.
So here is my image from today. It was really cold out this morning, but I wanted to use natural light so I had Marissa hurry out in her cute little Halloween outfit and pretend she wasn't cold. Because of the hurrying it's not perfect by any means and I only took one shot (so unlike me) so we could get back inside where it was warm, but I'm still in love with it. :)
