Good morning sunshine!

When you become a parent there are many things that you look back on from your childhood and realize what you made your own parents suffer through. One of these things for me was being very grouchy in the morning. I was not fun to wake up, I'm sure. Payback time. Marissa takes after her mommy on this one. She is not a happy camper when it's time to get up. It usually doesn't last long, but I figure it doesn't hurt to do what I can to help that smile come sooner rather than later. This morning these cheery pancakes seemed to do the trick.



Except Marissa decided it needed a nose:



She was even happy enough to smile for the camera...bedhead and all!
