Upside-down
Maybe this is what happens when your child starts gymnastics at 18 months and is still going strong at age 7...she feels more comfortable being upside-down thatn right-side-up. I'm not sure I've ever seen her go up the stairs without putting her head down and bottom up at some point. When she's walking from one place to another there are usually at least one or two cartwheels in between steps. And this is how she watches T.V. a lot of the time. It looks like little brother is following in her upside-down footsteps. This is also a sneak peek of our new house. I know a few of you have requested photos, some of you multiple times (ahem, my sister-in-law) but I was trying to get everything settled first and we still don't have much on the walls but I don't think that will happen for a while so I guess I'll give in and take some. For now...this shot was taken in the hearth room off of the kitchen. It's a great place for the kids to hang out in the morning and watch cartoons while I fix breakfast or clean up from it but of course, being a photographer my favorite thing about it is the great natural light. ;)
