I took Chase shopping for a birthday present for his friend today. For some reason I always think it's a nice idea for the kids to pick out the presents for their friends. I am always wrong. We had a long talk in the car about how we were only buying for his friend so not to ask for anything. He did fine in the store other than not focusing and taking forever to decide on something. Once we checked out though he started whining about how HE wanted one of the toys he got his friend too and if we didn't get it now they would run out, etc. He was still whining about it when we got home and when he realized I wasn't listening anymore he said "mom, look at my face" and when I did I saw this:
