Today was Good Friday and it really was. It was also a series of Happy Accidents. The plan was to go to a large local consignment sale and see if we could find any cute clothes for the kids plus they were having an exotic animal petting zoo. Cheap clothes and free entertainment? Sounds great! However the clothes were cruddy and some were pricier than new clothes at Target and I didn't realize the animals were only there in the morning and we got there at lunch time so we just missed them. On the bright side, Marissa found 2 cute leotards in her size and we changes our plans and decided to go visit our Elk and buffalo friends and bring them some treats. I guess everyone else had the same idea because there was only 1 elk hungry enough to eat our carrots and a bunch of scraps of leftover fruits and veggies all over the ground but it was still fun as always. Throw in lunch out, steaks on the grill for dinner and coloring Easter Eggs and you have a pretty great day (and too many photos to choose just one).
