I'm not sure why, but I never really played with legos. I know it had nothing to do with being a girl because I had a pretty good collection of Tonka Trucks and Matchbox cars as a child. Chase started asking for them this year and we finally got him a set for his birthday. I was kind of dreading playing with them to be honest. I didn't think he had the attention span yet and figured that I would be doing all of the work by myself and then he would destroy what I spent all that time making and lose the pieces. We had a great time working on this together though and I can see more legos in our future and this maybe even becoming "our thing" we do together.
