Marissa was running around the house with these bunny ears on her head tonight and since I hadn't taken my daily photo yet, it seemed like as good of time as any to get a quick, easy photo. Wrong. I turn my camera on...nothing happens. I guess I must have left it on because I had just fully charged it a couple of days before but it was completely dead. Ok, no problem. I have a back-up. Just sit right there my hyper little 4 year old and wait for mommy to get the other camera, put a CF card in it, move my flash over to it and put a lens on it and then we will be ready to go. Wow, she did! So I look through the camera, get ready to shoot and....the bunny ears suddenly disappear. Chase had thrown a ball at her and knocked the ears right off her head. Fixed the ears, and then he decided to jump in the shot too. Made me think how when you looked at a photo you seldom know the whole story that goes on behind it.

Props to my little 'ole rebel. These were SOOC (straight out of camera/not edited). Not sure whether to be happy or sad about how good they turned out because I can't seem to get the white balance right when using a flash with the 7D, but hopefully it was just a coincidence and I got the flash settings perfect for once.
