I was going to skip tonight. For the first time I was going to intentionally just take the night off. I did miss one other day so far, but it wasn't on purpose. The day just kind of flew right by without it happening. Tonight I honestly just wasn't motivated and didn't really care. Then, in the nick of time, my phone chimed with a new message from a Facebook friend saying she just got caught up on my blog and complimenting me on it. Ok, now I'm motivated. Sometimes it's easy to convince myself that no one is really paying attention anyway, so why bother? Thank you for letting me know you are still checking this out. And to everyone who is, feel free to comment here or on Facebook from time to time. It helps.
So...now it's 11:00 and I just got my motivation. What do I take photos of? I've got nothing. I decided since my whole family is in bed, it's dark outside (and SNOWING!), and I'm running out of things in the house to photograph, it definitely needs to be a macro with my extension tubes. The beauty of using them is that I just have to find something that looks interesting really, really close up. But what? Then it came to me...Bubbles! They have been kind of a theme around here lately since the big bubble bath last week and then blowing bubbles outside the other day. Chase talks about bubbles all the time now too. So I filled a bright blue cup up with a little Dawn and started shooting with no idea what was going to come out of the camera. I took a lot, but let's face it. You can only look at so many bubble photos so I'm just sharing a couple that I thought were kind of cool.
Very cool also! I had no idea it was bubbles at first glance! BTW, your blog is making me get out my camera and just start shooting and adjusting, trying to figure it all out. Thank you for that! And if you miss a few days in the 365, I won't judge ya. Life gets busy. :)
