Almost two!

It seemed easy enough. Get some ballons, put a cute outfit on Chase and plop him down in a pretty park. Why did I think it would really go that way? I forgot about a few things. First of all...the geese. Chase was way more interested in them than the balloons and kept running after them screaming "DUCK!". I guess he didn't inherit mommy's fear of birds. Then there was the goose poop. A lot of goose poop. Not only was I constantly worrying about keeping the kids out of it, but it also seemed to be in most of the most scenic places that I wanted to "plop him" down in. Then there was Marissa. Bless her heart. I brought her along to "help" and because I thought we could play at the playground for a while after we were done. She kept showing up in the shots though. Then I would tell her to "stand behind mommy" so she would stand RIGHT behind me and I would back up to get a shot and would run her over. Finally, she announced that she had to go potty and of course the bathrooms were locked up. Chase started getting cold and grouchy and to top it off, the playground was super muddy so we didn't even really get to play. I did get a few keepers, but I see another shoot in our future.
