Cabin fever is setting in. With the cold and/or messy weather, limited hours of daylight, and everything outside covered in snow, I've been mostly shooting indoors and not only am I craving some sunshine and flowers, but I'm also running out of subjects around the house. Tonight I was watching "Say Yes to the Dress" and decided to pull my own wedding dress out and do a little shoot with it. I had forgotten just how pretty it was. I may have even tried it on...ok, I did. And I may have gotten stuck in it...yep, did that too. The problem is that it is strapless and really, really heavy. Well, that and the fact that my once tiny body has grown two little humans since the last time I wore it. Anyway I had to kind of squish "the girls" to get the belt part over them when I was pulling it on and when it came time to take it off I couldn't get it back up over them myself. At first my greatest fear was that my laughing would wake the kids, then I realized that Chad wasn't here tonight and I REALLY was stuck and had no one to help me. I had a small panic attack, but eventually somehow managed to wiggle out of it and return it to the closet for another 7 years or so. Next time I think I will just admire it on the hanger.
