This week I got a one day weekend...today. I had to make the best of it so for the first half of the day I did nothing. By nothing I mean NOTHING. I stayed in my pj's and fed the kids breakfast and then hung out at the breakfast table sipping my coffee while they played and watched cartoons. Then I watched a good portion of the Daytona 500. At this point I needed to get my butt in gear and make up for the first half of my day, so in order to both have some fun quality mommy/kid time AND complete some errands so we got Chase down for his nap, then loaded Marissa's toy shopping cart and one of her babies in the car and made the trip to the grocery store "fun time". Of course, being the multi-tasker that I am, I also managed to squeeze my blog photos into the event killing THREE birds with one stone (besides, it was cute and photo-worthy). I also managed to get half the laundry done (with a little hubby help- thanks honey) and make a pretty yummy dinner.
Oh, and just to show that EVERYONE takes crappy photos every now and then, and because this was cute, here is one of "Emily". Marissa felt she needed to be safe too.
